Handmade garments designed, drafted, cut, and sewn in my studio in Minneapolis. All garments are 1/1, made one at a time, slowly. Garments will include small aesthetic deviations and flaws, due to their handmade quality.
Clothing objects are companions, something to care for as it cares for us. These garments are meant to be worn often, gaining natural wear and damage as the piece evolves with you during your daily life. The forms of these garments are influenced largely by vintage Americana, and the markmaking/stitching borrows from my work in drawing and printmaking.
Made with sentimentality, with care for material, and the people who will eventually wear them.
